During an interview on MSNBC’s “The Last Word,” host Lawrence O’Donnell, Charles Blow of the New York Times and Jonathan Capehart each took turns questioning the self-appointed defender/friend of George Zimmerman. After an intense grilling for about 30 minutes, Oliver revealed himself to be nothing more than an acquaintance and raised questions about why he inserted himself into this national maelstrom to begin with.

O’Donnell mounts a critical blow against Oliver’s resume as a friend of Zimmerman: “You don’t even have a consistent story. You’ve told us you don’t know what his mistakes were; then you tell us he grew from them. Then you tell us you’re not sure if he did anger management; then you say you’re pretty sure he did do anger management…. There’s so much you don’t know, Joe … Joe, it is not good enough for America.”

We’ve all been pretty heated about the shooting of Trayvon Martin case. So much so that the Black Panther Party had a $10,000 bounty put out on Zimmerman who decided to go into hiding because excessive death threats. After State Attorney Angela Corey decided not to use a grand jury, she decided to charge Zimmerman with the murder of Martin. Here’s what they had to say at abc.com:

“The prosecutor’s ruling is certain to provoke controversy in Sanford, Fla., where shooting took place and across the country.

Zimmerman, 28, a white Hispanic neighborhood watch captain, shot and killed Martin, who was 17 and black, on Feb. 26 after following the teenager for several minutes.

The special prosecutor’s ruling came one day after Zimmerman’s legal team quit because they had lost contact with him, and suggested that the pressure of the case had “pushed him over the edge.”

His lawyers said that Zimmerman was no longer in Florida and ABC News has learned that prosecutors do not know his exact location.

Earlier this week, Sanford Mayor Jeff Triplett said his city has become a ‘kindling box’ due to the high emotions surrounding the case, and that he would ‘plan for the worst and hope for the best.”

Personally I’m happy the prosecutor decided to charge Zimmerman with murder. According to all the evidence revealed to the public Trayvon was innocent and the story hits a sensitive spot for me because I have a little brother his age so I can only imagine what his parents are going through. Charging Zimmerman with murder won’t bring Trayvon back but I’m sure his family will find some police in the charges. 3GM will be sure to follow the case and keep you updated.

Check out the police surveillance video of George Zimmerman taken the night he shot and killed Miami-Dade teen Trayvon Martin.

The video shows a handcuffed Zimmerman being taken out of a parked police cruiser and inside the Sanford, Fl. police headquarters on the night of Feb. 26 or early the following day.

Zimmerman, a crime watch captain, said he fatally shot the teen in self-defense after he called 911 to report the teen was acting suspicious.

The video is significant, the teen’s family said, because it appears to show that the muscular-looking Zimmerman is uninjured. It also offers the first public view of Zimmerman since the shooting.

News reports that cited anonymous police sources said Zimmerman told police that Trayvon decked the neighborhood watch volunteer and slammed his head on the concrete. Zimmerman’s attorney Craig Sonner has told television networks that the neighborhood watch volunteer’s nose was broken and he was left with a gash on the back of his head that would have required stitches had he gone to the doctor in time.

But there are no visible bruises on his face or cuts on the back of his shaved head in the video, and his shirt doesn’t appear to have blood on it in the front or back. There does not appear to be any grass on his jacket, as indicated in the police report.

The video was authenticated by the city of Sanford public information office.

“I think the video speaks for itself,” said the family’s attorney, Benjamin Crump. “You don’t see any broken nose. You don’t see any blood on his head. You don’t see any stuff on the back of his clothes. You have to ask why did this police chief, state attorney and now this acting police chief conspire to protect George Zimmerman for killing this unarmed teenager?
